did you do this with a panto, computer, or free motion?

Very neat quilt and a great quilting job. I too am curious as to your technique. Or did you mark it out some how? The two different kokapellis look exactly the same so I am wondering how you manage this symmetry. I have made my own designs and then marked the quilt to get that symmetry. No way I could manage getting them to look exactly the same freehanding it from one to the next. Each one would end up looking different unless I made a pattern and marked the quilt or used some sort of template.
