I just put the last border on a scrappy quilt that I made for my friend. She bought the fabric and selected the pattern. We have both been anxious to see what it would end up looking like, as neither of us is good at visualizing what a finished product might look like.
I am very pleased with it, even though scrappy quilts are not my preferred quilts. I lean toward two or three colors or shades of two or three colors. Still, I think it looks good. If you have been one who encouraged me that it would turn out okay, thank you so much. I depend on you all to help me "see" what I can't. I have just emailed my friend a picture. (She is in OK and I am in TX.) I hope she likes what she sees. The last picture I sent her didn't have the borders on. |
It turned out great. I like it a lot.

I like that. It's kind of an "organized" scrppy look!

It looks great! She will love it!

Very nice and neat looking and great colors.

That turned out beautifully! The borders make it!
Congrats! |
great job, I especially like your design, a little different from the traditional rail fence, your choice of fabric colors make it pop, well done...

I really like the white framing for the colored units. Sets them off nicely.
Nice choice of fabrics for the borders, too. |
