I've never done a planned scrap and didn't know how many blocks to do for this size since the pattern was for a smaller one. So I just starting cutting strips and slicing and piecing and had so much fun that I just kept on doing that. Ended up I had enough blocks left over for a large lap size which I'm having quilted now for a gift for my sister-in-law whom we're going to visit in November. Julene

Yes I made it. Just started out I wanted to make a few blocks just to see how it was done but blocks were so fun that I ended up with this many so that's how that size happened.

Kitsie, here is a larger picture of the Hollow Block in my Avatar. Glad you like it. It was fun doing the blocks but putting them together was a real challenge. I hadn't planned my colors very well, just did blocks from scraps I had.
