This is just the top, not quilted yet. The pattern called Victoria's Garden is one I got out of a magazine but don't recall which one. I've never done a planned scrap and didn't know how many blocks to do for this size since the pattern was for a smaller one. So I just starting cutting strips and slicing and piecing and had so much fun that I just kept on doing that. Ended up I had enough blocks left over for a large lap size which I'm having quilted now for a gift for my sister-in-law whom we're going to visit in November. Julene

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. This is the first scrappy quilt I've done and now I see why so many quilters like to do those. I'm sure there are more in my future. I'm working on a Hunter's Star pattern now for my DH, it's about 3/4ths done but I'll have it finished late this winter. All of the beautiful quilts you post are such an inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing them. Julene in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona.

I love your quilt. It is a relatively simple pattern that allows the fabric to give it so much character. Thanks for sharing it.

I love scrap quilts and yours certainly is a beauty. Seems to me that everyone else's scrap quilts always look much better than mine do. I have 64 log cabin blocks done that I am anxiously waiting the time to get them sewn together. Haven't decided on the lay-out yet. It is very scrappy. I hope it will look half as good as yours.

Beautiful!
