Thanks again for the kind words. I am all better now. The mistakes are minor. I do press seams in opposite directions so they nest together. I pin. Not much I can do differently except keep on trying. I do like my quilt. This one is not a gift. It is for me. The last 9 were gifts. This one isn't.

I had responded to your other post and suggested you wash it. Don't  Didn't realize it was still a top.
You are being to hard on yourself. It looks great! You are focusing on one part of a whole. After it is quilted and bound (and washed) then you will be seeing the whole quilt and it will make you smile! |
Put it aside for a week or so....It will look entirely different to you, then. Happens to me all the time. Nice quilt!
Beautiful. See no mistakes here you did a awesome on this quilt!
Its wonderful!
I don't know what mistakes, just see all those cute kitty cats
Very nice qult and love the kitty fabric.
So lovely, beautiful material as well.
I'm sorry I don't see any mistakes, but I do see a very cute quilt. I think that you're being too hard on yourself.
Being a fairly new quilter(I have made 4) I am still so amazed that i can do this I never see a mistake!!!! Hope I never lose it!!!
I don't look for mistakes. Your quilt is really beautiful. Be proud of it. Can you tell me the name of the pattern. I have some flower print that might look nice made up similar to that. Again, very beautiful

Don't be so hard on yourself, that quilt is gorgeous and only you are going to see any mistakes, the recepient won't see any......Great job

Mistakes! You bet but you learn to live with them after a while. I made a matching bedroom set with curtains and bedspread. I took months outlining all the flowers on the bedspread and ripping out each time I goofed. Well months and months later it was off the frame and what did I find? You cannot see any of the quilting at all! I was just supposed to do edge to edge on this one and mistakes, not one shows up at all. So much for perfection.
Very nice quilt I think we are to hard on ourselves some times
Your quilt is wonderful so just enjoy it!
Very nice quilt.
Love the D9P pattern. Design creation, humility blocks (quilt HA), quilt to practice free motion on, charity quilt, learning experience..... it still looks great!
Mistakes?? What mistakes Just look at those points - perfectly alienged. What more could you ask for? It looks wonderful.
It looks great!
Good pattern for the cute cat's.

The colors are nice, your points match, love the kitties. Actually I'm impressed it looks like all your cats are pointed the same direction.
You'll always be able to pick out everyone of your mistakes when you first finish it. Put it up for awhile, finish some more and then you may not be as harsh when you pull it out the next time. Or show it to some friends and see what they say, without volunteering where all the mistakes are. |
Like it! and when you or recipient is snuggled up in it, all there will be is a warm loving feeling from the maker of such a beauty.
Great quilt. What mistakes? Keep on quilting and ignore what you see as mistakes. Most folks won't ever notice unless you tell them, so don't tell.
cute I love cats. I have 3 myself. that is great. nice job

Looks great to me!
And don't worry about the mistakes, they happen and mostly you notice, others don't, except for judges in competitions! Debs & Hemi |
very very nice
Your quilt is wonderful!
If you can't see the things you think are wrong from 5 feet, then it doesn't matter. It's my 5 foot rule. We are all way to critical of ourselves. Just enjoy the process and the finished item. |
I like it, I see no mistakes.
I think that is a common thing with most quilters....your quilt looks absolutely lovely....keep up the good work!!
Love the kitty fabric. I don't see the mistakes from here.......just a lovely quilt!
It is a very dancing quilt. I love the movement in it and the fabric choice.
Very nice!
Ahhhh. cute.
Dina, I think you are way too critical of yourself. I, personally didn't see any mistakes in a very cleverly done quilt. I love kitties..... Just enjoy what you do, be happy you can do it,do the best you can then forgive any mistakes and call them learning experiences. When you get to my age, you realize that life is not about little mistakes, it is about loving and being loved. Love your quilts!!! Bless you, dear one. :)
yes, you get less critcal of yourself as you go along. and anyone who doesn't quilt, won't know the difference. and a quilter won't point out any mistakes.
i have decided i like the motto from the jane stickle quilt very much. ---'better done than perfect' |

It looks great to a newbie like me! I think if you do not let it bother you so much you stop quilting or drive yourself nuts....striving for perfection could
make you exceptional!! |
