Here's a quick pic of the quilt I'm working on for my DDIL for Christmas. I'm liking the way it's going so far...

Very pretty. I did a very similar design in the same type of block on the CW quilt I did. I filled the background squares with a 1" cross hatch.

That's interesting; I've been thinking about doing some curved crosshatching in the background squares too!
