I have 22 flower sets cut out so far and a few more to go. I've been lightly stuffing some of them. I have them cut out, sewn and put in their envelopes with the picture on the front.
Now I have to go back over them and stuff a few more, adding stamens, and details.
I can see that some of the flowers will have to be sewn down by hand, but I want to do most of it by machine. I don't really like raw edge applique, but I may have to do some of that too if I can't turn it under. I can glue baste them in place for extra hold. I also have my six inch needle to hold them in place too. I used a fusible tricot for the backing on most of the flowers except the ones which will have the backing showing like the 3D ones.
I'll post more pics later as soon as I get over this cold the grandkids gave me. Later...

The fabric is gorgeous. The quilt will be gorgeous.
