Just starting another quilt

The blocks are only pinned to my wall for now. I'm going to do as many as I can until I can get a the background fabric later this week, couldn't wait I just had to get sewing on something. lol
I love the fabrics from Marshal's Dry Goods, marbleicious.
My hands are killing me, by back is killing me. I need to learn to put the sewing down for a day or two just to recoup, but you know how it is. I only have four pinned up, working on the number five of 30 to 40. We'll see.

SewExtremeSeams 03-25-2014 05:45 PM

Very pretty.

Have you tried Biofreeze for your hands and back? I am not affiliated with the company. I just roll it on constantly and it keeps me going. Doesn't always take all of the pain away but takes the edge off. I order it through Amazon.

BrendaK 03-25-2014 06:26 PM

What a garden this will be. They are beautiful. BrendaK

terri bb 03-25-2014 06:33 PM

No I haven't tried the biofreeze yet, but I will, thanks. I've soaked my hands in hot water for about 5 to 10 minutes and that relaxes them for awhile. I have carpal tunnel in both hands from pounding on a computer for 30 years. My fingers are always numb when I sew, so I know I will have to do something in the near future.

Podunk Princess 03-25-2014 07:52 PM

It's going to be beautiful...can't wait to see more photos as you work on it.

I tend to have more than one project on the go at a time so I am not putting long time pressure on one area. Last year had a bone removed from wrist due to pain it has been a very successful op. How did you do these are you going to do a tute to show. Please please please

Knitette 03-26-2014 01:00 AM

Your flowers are beautiful - so Springlike. Fabric is gorgeous. It's going to be fabulous! :)

Jingle 03-26-2014 04:43 AM

It will be gorgeous, love the colors and fabric. Love those flowers. For your hands just spread your hands and fingers out and wiggle your fingers. Should help keep fingers limber. Squeezing a soft ball my hlep also. Hard to quit when you just want to keep going.

Ruth, it's Marshall's dry goods. Then go to Marblelicious on the left hand side. I still need to
pick up a couple of other colors, but that's going to have to wait until payday. Lol
My daughter wants me to make her a shirt from the red color, and I want one from the light blue.

JuneBillie 03-26-2014 09:23 PM
