i'm among those who look at all the pictures but don't always add the comments they deserve. sometimes it's because i'm sneaking a peek when i'm supposed to be working. sometimes it's because i'm tooo pooped to type. sometimes i'm just in a rush for some other reason.

i wanted to take a moment to tell everybody how much i enjoy seeing your quilts. they impress me, inspire me, and light up my day. if you don't see a comment from me that says so, please rest assured that i have seen it and think so.

I can relate to that, some times I type a lot and other times I just browse, depends on what I am doing but since I have discovered this site I am rarely far away from it as I have learned so much here and met some great folk, I love to see all the wonderful projects everyone has been working on and if I am in need of being cheered up I just have to visit the QB and I soon forget my woos! I am always inspired when I visit and uplifted!

I browse daily and usually several times a day. I don't comment more than I do comment just because I could type/talk all day. I love looking at everyone's quilts, browsing the chit chat thread, and completely enjoy the off the wall humor, venting, Marsye's hilarious pictures, the debates, etc. Since I'm retired, this board gives me the daily interaction with people that I've missed for the past few years. This is a wonderful place to be.

I'm the same, do enjoy looking at them all and don't always comment.

Goes for me too. I always look at the pictures first and then if I have time I go on to other things. I have gotten more ideas from the pictures and even print them out to put in my "I would like to do something like this" pile.

same here... I have yet to see a quilt I have not liked. Everyone here does great work and I wish I had time to commenton all projects!! I LOVE this board where we can all come for inspiration and encouragement!

same here also, I always try to look at all the quilts. but being on dial up, it takes awhile. This board is a great inspiration. and makes me want to keep sewing on those days when I am not in a mood, or I have done nothing but make mistakes LOL

I too am amongst the peekers who don't always type how beautiful a quilt is..often time because I have sat staring at the quilt in amazment as i did this morning when I looked at the reverse applique quilt with the butterflies..my gosh how absolutely beautiful..I will try to do better..you gals and guys are amazing!

You people are WONDERFUL!!! I Love EVERYTHING that is posted on this board! This is the first thing (after the bathroom) that I see in the morning with my coffee, and the last thing I check at night!! My inspiration comes from this board! Love all of you!

I think we all do that from time to time. I know I sure have.

I don't respond to what I look at all the time. But I think this board is wonderful. The quilts and projects are just wonderful. The questions asked and chit chat help us all. It lightens me day.

Oh My Gosh! I stand guilty as charged too. I am so glad that others are coming forward to say so. I thought I was the only one.

Ooops, I thought I might be the only one that does this. I put the pix I print in my "Inspiration" book. Sometimes it's the color combinations that I like, the block, the setting, the way the borders or binding are put on or sometimes it's just to inspire myself to do better. But whatever the reason I put the pictures in a book for future reference.

I try to comment on most of the quilts and always put a nice comment, even if the colors really aren't mine. I know how much work goes into the making and I've never seen an ugly quilt. I don't look every day. I want to make quilts also.

I think this board is wonderful. I don't always comment but I do enjoy all the photos,questions,answers,suggestions and humor. This board is a part of my life...I pop in 3 or 4 times a day.

Count me guilty of this too. Sometimes I just forget to comment!! LOL And sometimes I feel dumb just saying “Beautiful Quilt” because everyone else has already said it all, though I guess for the person who posted, they would be happy to hear even that. Sometimes I do try my best to post in every picture post I go into because someone spent time on that quilt, plus not only that took time to take a pic and post, which takes time in an of itself!! LOL (That’s the reason most of my quilts are not posted because I don’t feel like taking a pic and then getting said pic on the computer!! :))

I love your avatar name.....I just wanted to say ditto to what you said....I check the site at least once a day, but mostly twice a day....I love it here and the people are wonderful....I am not retired yet, but I still think this is a wonderful place to be.....

Another one who doesn't always respond to the posts. I love this board - the questions, pictures and just general information. I have finished 3 quilt tops in the last few months compared to one in the last 25 years before I found this site. Even completed an OBW which would never have happened without all the help and encouragement from here. This is the first place I go in the mornings with my coffee to see all the wonderful quilts being created and read all the great information so freely shared. Thanks to everyone for sharing. Love this place.

I love the pictures and the questions that get such good information back. My time is so limited between travels, I don't comment all the time but neever stop appreciating! Love the board and everyone on it.

DITTO! i am also a lurker, who is inspired by all the talent on this forum! I love to see all the beautiful quilts and enjoy and print the tutorials!

I feel like I'm addicted to the Pictures section. I love seeing what everyone is working on. It also makes me feel like I'm not alone in my passion for quilting. No one I know quilts or even sews, so this site is my 'guild.'

Same here. As soon as I get to work and turn my computer on I check Missouri Star Quilt Co to see what the daily deal is, then I go straight here. (After I check my e-mail). I found this site many years ago and have looked at every single picture going all the way back to day one. I too copy pictures and put them into my "Wish Book" (Wish I could do one that well).

I am truly amazed at the quality and variety of quilts on this Board and recommend it to everyone I know (even the new LQS in town). I also check the Chit-Chat, Classifieds, Links and Main sites.

Quilting has gotten me through many a low time (empty nest, layoff, CHRISTMAS blues). I even gave up my "Master" bedroom for a sewing room and moved into the middle, then even the smallest bedroom when son moved back home from college.

I don't want anyone to think I get on here only to post my own pictures because I look at and admire every single picture.

There are so many wonderful quilts and projects on this site from all of you great quilters. I can't make a comment on all of them either but I really enjoy sneaking a peek when I can!!!

Me too. sometime I make lots of comments and other times I just sneak a peek; I love to look at everyone else's work, it is so inspiring and I appreciate all the lovely comments everyone has left for things I have posted. Everyone on here is so generous and knowledgeable, such a great group of friends! And, of course, I'm always on the look out for Marsye's posts - she makes me ROFLMAO all the time.

I'm with all of you. I LOVE this site and am on it several times a day. I check it out in the morning while drinking my coffee, again at lunch and, after I get home, I come here and keep checking back throughout the evening...and I check one more time before going to bed. I don't want to miss anything!

I am still a beginner and I found this site while searching the internet for quilting tips. I am so glad I did. I have learned so much from all of you and have gotten so much inspiration from your quilt pictures. If I commented on every one that I LOVED, I would be typing 24-7. There are just SO MANY talented people here.

Everyone keep up the good work and I'll keep watching and learning. And I'll try to comment more...
