well as many of you know i do a scrappy trade with several people.....and I got a box back a couple weeks ago....and this little guy was returned home..isn't he cute? I love that I send out a box of scraps and I am surpised as to what they turn into when they arrive back home....so I just knew I could get him quilted up last night....Love it!
This was made using leftover charms from a charm quilt i made my DBIL a few years ago....and he isn't getting this! It's a keeper! |
Wow, what a great trade. I love the quilt and your quilting....fantastic!
Wow, looks like two images - one by the piecing, one by the quilting. Both work together like magic!
How wonderful!
Beautiful and beautiful quilting
I love the look of the large applique on block quilts. It's just such a homey touch! Love the colors and pattern in the quilt and the quilting, of course. Thanks for sharing.
Very beautiful quilt and quilting, love the colors too.
How pretty!!!
I love the way you quilted the border. That is a wonderful "makeover" of your scraps.
I love "Kansas Troubles" fabric (maybe because I'm originally from KS?) & this just shows why they're so awesome. Who knew a "box of leftovers" could turn into such a beautiful work of art! It's spectacular! And you know how I feel about your quilting... perfection, per usual! Especially the border... too perfect! I don't blame you for keeping this one! It would never leave my sight!

I love the sun you quilted in the corner. It makes me smile.
What a great idea! The quilt is lovely and, Charisma, as I always say, you could make a fabulous quilt out of ANYTHING! Beautiful combination of quilt and your QUILTING is amazing art!!
It is so much fun to see what you create with your quilting. I would never have thought of the sun or the wonderful border treatment, nor even the pretty swirls on the flowers( not to mention that I could never make them happen.) Wow you are an awesomely creative quilter. I love what you do!
Beautiful work as always Charisma, I love the "the little guy" too and I would not be able to give it away either.

Beautiful! Looks great!!
Great team - quilt designer and quilting artist - I always love to see your creations!
Love your quilting on this - I noticed that you are not using "feathers" as much and I think that is good as some of these designs are just lovely and make the quilt so different and interesting. Love the colors and applique on this one.

It is amazing what can come from scraps. That quilt is very cute. I like the way you quilted it, with the sun shining on the flower.
