I have a king size bed also and keep thinking I'll make one for our bed but I haven't decided on a pattern. I love this log cabin design! It'll be beautiful :) Be sure to show us the finished quilt.

that will be a big quilt -- I like mine to hang down almost to the floor on the sides and turn down a little on the top -- I am almost afraid to measure them -- I think of them as 6 big blocks wide and 4 or 5 long -- your quilt will be beautiful
