Your children are lucky to have such a talented mom. The color choices of the tan fabric make it look marbled. I know that this pattern was inspired by a marble floor, so you nailed it. It is beautiful!

Holey moley, that's spectacular!

The colors are actually more gold and copper than tan - just didn't photograph that way - I used Stonehenge fabric and loved it for this quilt

Love the Labyrinth Quilt pattern. It is on my bucket list - one day maybe.

pattypurple 01-06-2017 06:10 PM

How did you quilt it? Could you show a closeup of quilting? I have my top done except for borders and trying to decide on quilting
yours looks wonderful and looks like your son likes it too.

My friend quilted it on her long arm machine in a medium size meander - I don't have a good photo of the quilting close up but it came out really nice

I think that it the most 3-D effect I have ever seen! That is a great quilt made for your son. Your choice of fabric is perfect.

QM 01-07-2017 03:54 AM

I love this quilt and you did a great job on it. I have that pattern and look at it once in awhile but not sure if I can do it. Now you have inspired me to rethink about this pattern. Your son looks like he is a happy recipient. Thx for sharing.

Sandykady 01-08-2017 07:25 AM

That's awesome, looks like it is made of stone. Great job

annette1952 01-08-2017 08:22 AM

Just beautiful! I love that line of fabrics. I have it in the tealish color line to someday make a quilt for my bed. I love the pattern too but it has been intimidating to me. I really just need to just get the pattern & do it. Great job!

tessagin 01-08-2017 08:27 AM

Looks great!

Innov8R 01-08-2017 08:55 AM

You did a beautiful job.

Gerbie 01-08-2017 10:46 AM

Beautiful, the look on his face shows he is just a bit prejudice in his preference for his new quilt.
