I made a mistake on the first one, too late to fix it. The grey one is hanging and looks wonky, ready to quilt them both.

GrammaNan 02-10-2015 06:27 PM

These quilts must take an incredible amount of work. They are so unique.

sarahrachel 02-10-2015 06:31 PM

That's so cool!! great job!

Sandykady 02-10-2015 06:41 PM

There are only nine blocks, not hard to do, easy to lose track on direction

QM 02-10-2015 06:44 PM

They both look great. Of course, I like the purple one better, being a purple freak.

PaperPrincess 02-10-2015 06:44 PM

These quilts need the correct fabric choices to make them work. You sure nailed it! I can't see any mistakes at all.

QuiltnNan 02-10-2015 07:20 PM

nicely doone

audsgirl 02-10-2015 07:23 PM

These are both great quilts! I like the use of the purple fabric for a change.

goodness, awesome

Jordan 02-11-2015 05:17 AM

I love your quilts. Don't see any mistakes at all. I have this pattern but have been really intimidated by it. I think PaperPrincess is right about the choices of color for this quilt. Did you pick your main color and then go about 2 or 3 shades lighter or darker in same color? Would love to know how you picked your colors.

Babs194068 02-11-2015 05:57 AM

How would you even know if you made a mistake. Awesome job on both.

Tartan 02-11-2015 06:28 AM

Two!! Wow they both look great!

Homespun 02-11-2015 06:45 AM

Both are beautiful! But I like the purple best.

elly66 02-11-2015 06:52 AM

WOWser what a beautiful quilt. Have to put one of these on my bucket list.

LindaMRB 02-11-2015 09:10 AM

Both are amazing! These require some serious brain power so congratulations to you!

Sandykady 02-11-2015 03:04 PM

I found the lighter purple first then a darker purple for the shading. Black gave the crevices a deeper look and the white just highlights. I loved the look of this quilt had to do it. I would love to see yours.

redquilter 02-11-2015 05:21 PM

Wow! Those are awesome! Look extremely labor intensive. I can't get over the 3D effect.

judy363905 02-11-2015 05:32 PM

Wow. Oh. Wow wonderful job. I have almost four blocks made ...I i am thinking about stopping at 4. This UFO is on my 2015 list. I am doing green with shades of grey ( but not 50 shades). :)

Kassaundra 02-11-2015 05:32 PM

Great job, I love 3D looking designs. I didn't notice the mistake until you said something, even knowing where it is, it isn't distracting at all.

Sandykady 02-11-2015 06:02 PM

Keep going Judy, post a picture when finished please

#1piecemaker 02-11-2015 06:50 PM

marymay 02-12-2015 03:37 AM

Now these are eye catchers. Beautiful

rj.neihart 02-12-2015 03:46 AM

How cool is this one? Wow - I'm really mesmerized - my science-thinking daughter would love this pattern!

Jingle 02-12-2015 05:34 AM

Both are very stunning. Love the looks of them.

twinkie 02-12-2015 05:41 AM

I really love the 2nd one. The grey one is nice but purple is my favorite color.

Iraxy 02-12-2015 09:10 AM

Love this pattern but I too have been intimidated by it. Going to have to dissect the squares and figure it out. You did great job on these two quilts. Enjoy.

Rina 02-12-2015 09:14 AM

This quilts are so beautiful! I try to see the mistakes, but can't find any!! I love them both.

crafterrn1 02-12-2015 09:49 AM

They both look great to me. Luann

joyce888 02-12-2015 12:08 PM

Very nice. Good to see a different color.

MargeD 02-12-2015 12:38 PM

Those quilts are amazing. This is one for my Roundtoit List, to make someday. I especially love the purple quilt, but then I love purple.

Plee1053 02-12-2015 12:53 PM

Awesome quilt! Love colors! Purple lover here! Can't see mistake. Would love to know what pattern you used

Sandykady 02-12-2015 02:49 PM

I will copy it and send it to you if you'd like. Give me your address.

ckcowl 02-12-2015 03:25 PM

Turned out great and that one little error is nothing to worry about, no one looking at the quilts know they are not exactly what you intended. ( I only spotted it because I've made the same quilt a couple times)
They are fun, but it is easy to turn something if not paying close attention. I have another gray one all cut out, really want to do one in blues. I love your purples!
Anyone wanting to make it, its straight sewing, no complicated piecing, you just have to be organized, pay attention to lay out and go for it! :) it only takes (5) fabrics white, light, medium, medium dark and dark (black or deep dark)

quiltybarb 02-12-2015 03:37 PM

I've got to make one of these.....Yours are beautiful....

ckcowl 02-12-2015 03:41 PM

The name of the pattern is Labrynth Walk, by the Guilty Quilter. For anyone looking, it is a fun quilt to make, which always gets the ( oh wow! Response) but, even an organized beginner can make this quilt! Its straight line stitching, nothing complicated, as long as you pay attention and stay organized. Jump in & give it a try. It would be great to have a bunch of pictures in a variety of colors! Mine have been the grays because they were requested that way, I think I want to make one in blues. Really want to see that green one!

susie-susie-susie 02-12-2015 03:55 PM

Your quilts are beautiful. This quilt is on my to do list, but I can't decide what color to do. I'm thinking blue, aqua, or something else. I'm very indecisive when it comes to colors. That's probably why it's on my to do list instead in my UFO pile. I really like the purple one.

Beebonnet 02-12-2015 04:17 PM

Wow! They are awesome. I don't see any wonkyness. Really, really nice.

Sandykady 02-12-2015 04:31 PM

When I first saw this quilt for the first time I couldn't wrap my brain around it. Anyone wanting the pattern please let me know. I would love to see it in blues. Please post when finished.

Kim B 02-12-2015 07:29 PM
