Yes. You paste them down with a glue stick and then stitch the edges down. After you do this step then your ready to quilt the layers together and free motion all your textures in. The first step is very important. If you dont stitch down all your motifs first the quilt will never lay flat. I learned the hard way by trying short cuts. Live and learn.

Thats how I learned how to do Land Scape quilts by watching Sewing With Nancy.

Oooooo! I love them all!!!!!!!!!! I am drooling all over my keyboard!!! (reaching for a paper towel) I have wanted so long to do a landscape, have a number of books, but still afraid to try. What stitch do you use to stitch down the pieces after you put them down with the glue stick.
