Landscape Quilt
 

This is my first real landscape quilt with my first FMQ (other than stippling). I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I really love the stain glass look this landscape hanger has. I am excited for you that you broke into the other type of free motion quilting. Now it is a whole different ball game when you look at a quilt to analyze it for quilting, so many options. Even quilt shows will hold added interest to you.

Awesome landscape. The saturated colors of a warm sun, cool grasslands and fresh water make for a great summer day. This is a winner landscape.

how did you do the black lines...is it piping or yarn or a sashing that is very very narrow...also is this a pattern or your own creation....looks great...

Thanks for all the nice comments! This is my own design. I sketched out my pattern on to some card stock, then transferred the lines to a foundation,then I added the fabric pieces to that. I used 1/4" double-fold bias tape for the leading lines.
