Lap quilt for DH

http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492660&stc=1DH is always by his computer and actually uses this (hand quilted)prayer lap quilt I made for him when he was hospitalized early this year. Truly a great practical size since he has difficulty walking it prevents him from getting it tangled when he moves to and from to the couch. I notice he finds comfort using it.

Casting Shadows by Colleen Wise Highly recommend the book. This quilt was faster to piece than the lovely log cabin quilt. Ive made 3 quilts. Like the pattern for the men in my family. Have 2 sons. |

That's a beautiful lap quilt. I want to make some for my dad. He went for rehabilitation in the nursing home, and will be home soon I hope or at least for Thanksgivings.
