Shelly--I love both of your quilts. I have some of the backing fabric from your son's quilt--I used it to make fabric postcards for veteran's day. I love your D9P-KTQ are my favorite!!! Gorgeous quilt.

You always do wonderful work! I've kept my eye out for the digital camo, two in the Army mean I need the digital design. I found some blue and white for my Navy nephew but he doesn't want a quilt of it. He want's "normal people stuff" Aunt Sharon. lol lol
You can show your quilting!

Sharon

What beautiful quilts you have made. I love the one for your son & I am sure he will treasure it forever. Your D9P is gorgeous also. I am working on a D9P myself, using Watercolor Wraps in brown for my husband. Isn't that a fun pattern to do?

Keep up the good work
Yep, both on Dizzy. Here's a close up of the d9p when it was on the frame. http://shellysblogspotblog.blogspot....-on-dizzy.html I used thread from ThreadArt on them both too. Same spools actually! I will be ordering more from them.
I must say. When I bought KT I had my doubts about it. The colors, the patterns....but with it all together, I love it. They are coming out with a Wildflower Serenade II that I already plan to get a couple layer cakes of. Plan on doing a d9p with those big squares. :-)
I have no idea where to begin about the camo quilt. Finding military camo quilting fabric in 3 colors isn't easy! So when we found the green, gray, and brown, we got it. I called it the 'camo vomit' quilt for quite a while! The canvas is just alot stiffer and doesn't like to move. When trying to sew in the ditch, if the seam didn't lay right I couldn't just run over it with the hopping foot and squish it down. It would bump me off course. It is really heavy too.

Love your DNP - I think it's the nicest one I've see.
How many different fabrics did you use? Wonderful choice of colors.
