I am set up to teach a class(actually two) in July with one of the guilds I belong to, however they requested for me to teach on how I do my scrapy rag quilts and manipulate them using free motion on each block rather than the usual X sewed in the center and doing a rag quilt using various squares, rectangles creating a Take 6 block and others. As far as doing a class on EQ7 in creating one of a kind designs I'm not that good at it yet to be qualified to do that. We have at least half a dozen ladies in one guild that use EQ who are much more experienced than I am. And we have ten times that many more that have no interest in learning such a software program to create their own one of a kind patterns. I do belong to one sew group in one of the guilds that are more open to learning more than just tradtional piecing who meet on Wednesdays and we teach each other stuff. |
Great job.
And WOW did it speak. I love it. Any way you can do a tute on it. I'll bet I'm not the only one who would like to know how.

That is a lovely quilt.
WOW. I love years and I love two-color quilts, you have done both beautifully.
Love it, love it, love it!
Just amazing, awesome, beautiful. You are an artist for sure
Beautiful I love the look of the red and white

The way to learn EQ7 is to take the time to do the lessons in the program and start practicing what you learn. Do the examples they give and do it until you are familiar with it and create and than go from there and learn some more and create some more.
I'm afraid I am not qualified to teach EQ7. I am just starting to learn how to use the program and learning it as I go. The program also has several video's besides the 22 lessons to learn to use the program. As I recall also someone here with a lot more experience than I have already done a wonderwful tutorial on how to use the program so no need to duplicate it. Look for it in the tutorial section. |
WOW pretty much covers it!
Very cool!
