Sheila Elaine 09-08-2010 03:37 PM

Very nice studio. You have it so organized, all you have to do is decide the next project. I find decisions gets harder the more beautiful quilts I see here on the Quilting Board. Thanks for taking time to show us your gorgeous set up. It gives us ideas to use on our own space.

Kas 09-08-2010 03:41 PM

You are so organized! I wish I was that kind of person. I can organize it for a while, but then it all starts becoming one big pile again. Very nice!

Yes you can, have 4 rooms we are not even using! I have a walk in closet across the hall for fabric and books, and books on tape, my quilt frame is in next room, with desk top computer station.

It was given to me, had sat in a garage for years,It was very old typewriter desk, the varneer was in super bad shape, so I peeled it all off, inside under and out side! stripped, sanded and refinished it. I love the really deep drawers. and a pull out board that it has is so handy for one of my small cutting matts. Desk top is 32"X42" It sits next to my antique oak harvest table which is 32"X42" also. so if I need more room all I have to do is move my little Pfaff and I can really spread out.

Lynneander 09-09-2010 06:48 AM

Great space ... cute helper, too!

feline fanatic 09-09-2010 06:59 AM

Beautiful space, wonderful stash and awesome cats. I have two ragdolls. One is a total glutton for attention. DH calls him the lap tumor. The other is very loving on his terms and is our bedtime buddy. Has to stake his claim on the bed right between us.

amma 09-12-2010 03:28 PM

it is a butcher block table I had in my cafe', I added the drawer, for my rottery cutters, it is just the right hight for me. I told DH I was keeping it as could use it either in sewing room or a kitchen. So for me this piece is a keeper!

craftybear 10-15-2010 10:48 PM

Lizard 10-16-2010 12:58 AM
