Lil Twister by Granddaughter

1 Attachment(s)
This is how my Granddaughter (Heather) & I spent part of Christmas Vacation. We made this lil Twister quilt for Heather. She used the 201 Singer that is pictured to sew on the quilt. She thinks the vintage 201 is the best machine ever.

You and your granddaughter created a beautiful quilt and precious memories. What a great way to spend Christmas vacation.

She a smart girl thinking that the Singer 201 is a great machine.....that's how it is still around today! She'll keep these memories forever. To sum up: she's smart, is learning the value of vintage, can quilt beautifully and has precious memories of you. Sounds like the perfect holiday for both of you.

Awesome job on the quilt and what memories you are making. I like your sewing table. I have one similar that came with my Elna SU machine which is 40 years old. I never thought of trying my FW in it? Where did you get your table from?

calicojoan 01-03-2013 05:09 AM

You're a good grandma to teach your granddaughter to quilt. Can't wait until my Maddie is old enough to teach to sew. She is 4 1/2.

gramquilter2 01-03-2013 07:51 AM
