Linda sent me this quilt for LAQ 2of 4

I am sorry I can't always come up with catchy names for quilts..LOL. I don't know the pattern names all the time..so I try to make up my own..and today it just isn't coming to me.

Anyway, we wanted to soften the lines in this quilt..so in order to that we have to do a design circular in nature. There are many leaves and flowers in the batik fabrics she chose so I just incorporated that same sort of design for the quilting. I am going to call this my "Sweet Pea Vine" Design. I am not sure why..I just think it sounds pretty. It's the first time I have done this and I think it is sweet and pretty.....I finished off the borders and side setting triangles with a curvy feather.

The squares remind me of strip quilting with a certain size strip. Love the way you put it together and quilted it.

I just returned home after a full day of sewing at my LQS to find this beautiful, awesome, spectacular quilting done on my quilt! Who could ask for a better day? Not me, and I am so inspired by Charisma's quilting to make even more pretty quilts for her to make spectacular! Wow! thank you so much for what you continue to do for quilts Charisma! The pattern is called Transitions and is done with the strip tube ruler :o)

I always love seeing your quilting. I wish I could close my eyes and run my hand over the computer monitor and "feel" the quilting. I love to touch material and I love the texture of quilts. Yeah...I'm weird...but I'm happy!
