That obviously took a LOT of patience!!! I know your DIL will be thrilled.

It turned out to be the perfect hand sewing project for the 2 weeks I stayed with my sister after her knee surgery. It was nice to have something to keep my hands busy as we sat together. I did applique the bottom leaves onto the fabric square at her house. I had them ironed on so they just needed stitching. The flower sorta "grew" as I worked on it. The Yo-Yo centers and the buttons were part of the growing.

That is beautiful. I can't wait for the tute on the flowers. I want to make one for DD. She would love it.
