I gotta get a new dowel. I'm not really liking this rod but its all I got for now. If you look close there is a needle (straight pin) in her hand, and her lap/floor is like mine, full if thread lol :D

I love her Bev! My mom looked like that when she was young so I am drawn to that style. I have some framed prints of that era of children very similar to what you have but they are just prints not embroidery.

You did a terrific job on this one! It is so charming!!!

Bev, I just want to pick up that little gal and give her a big hug and half of my stash, she is sooo darned cute!!! The needle and thread in her hand is cute, but I love that you made "her floor" look just like most of ours!!!

IThanks... I love these types too, so when my sister emailed me the patterns I was IN LOVE. This is counted cross stitch :D

Thank you. I added a few more of her material and just HAD to add the thread. I couldn't stand her floor being too clean. LOL

Thank You. Yes it is Counted Cross Stitch. I worked on her ALOT when I was going thru all my stress and scaredness when we lived at our old house. She kept me sane.. :D
