Green eyed jealousy here.

More inspiration for me. We are still working on my space. It is looking like it may stretch in to a winter project but oh well I will just be all the more proud when it is finished. It sure looks like you are making a wonderful space for your work.N

You are doing a fine job! Anxious to see the completion!

Grandma Peg 09-28-2011 07:43 AM

You two did a great job. Have fun creating in your new room.

Coming along great. Your husband is very talented.

purrfectquilts 09-28-2011 09:26 AM

I love how your "studio" is coming along. The spaces for your snippets are interesting, but also a cool idea. I am afraid I would lose my tools! My habit is to lay small scissors, etc. in front of my machine. It would take a while to break that habit.

Very nice building job, smooth rounded edges, pretty stain...you are so blessed.

save all the snippets for pet beds for the local animal shelter....winter is comming and concrete is cold even with a fur coat. BTW just in case anyone does not know to save batting bits and fabric scrapies and snippets in a "bed" made of a couple of no longer loved fabric squares (sewn on three sides, right sides together, then turned and when full sew the opening closed) and "presto, changeo" a pet bed.

grannie cheechee 09-28-2011 11:47 AM

Wanabee Quiltin 09-28-2011 03:59 PM

There will be bags under the slots to catch the mess. Or I sure would have a fine mess also. The idea is, the mess all goes in the bags and not me or the floor, and i just have to removed the bags and throw them out. lol

Yes, when hubby started this he said 2 weeks. I knew that wouldn't be right. But as long as it gets done and I don't have to worry about moving things out of the room any more. Having everything else piled around other rooms of our house has been the most stressful for me. But at least now I am seeing a end in sight.lol
