I just had to share what this looks like.My dh did all the building and I did all the staining. And so far, we have gone from that to this.lol Huge difference! Pay no mind, that the drawers aren't in here. I have them out in the shop curing right now. Will be putting them in along with the ironing board in a day or two. lol But it sure has gone through quite the transformation. And I just love it!

That is so awesome! I must be having a senior moment, because I can't think what the holes in front of the machines are for?

They are for my snippets. There will be small plastic bags hung on hooks under there to catch all my snippets while sewing. I look forward to this, lol no more mess on the floor and easy to clean up.lol

Thanks for asking- I was wondering the same thing... :)

Beautiful set up - Bet you can't wait to get a project going.

QUESTION...Why didn't you put the serger flush with the countertop? Was it because it needs to be opened on the bottom in order to get at the threading?

That's correct.Plus, I didn't know but what I might want to use it outside or in another room sometime. And if I'm not using the serger I can put it away and have more counter space. I am referring to the post where she asked why I didn't set the serger into the counter top. I thought I had "quote reply" but evidently not.lol

What a wonderful rennovation and lucky you. Want to thank whoever asked about the slots. I was wondering too and thought, if I had those in front of my machine, I would have a frightful mess in my lap. LOL, now I know better.
