Pretty little quilt!

Oh! I just finished my 4th black and white quilt using this pattern. I said I was never going to make another one. BUT! Now I have to try it with red and white. These quilts aren't hard to make, but they definitely take some time. I love the way you put the strips on an angle. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

For all of you who asked - and thanks for all the great feedback! - I cut my strips 1" wide to start. Sewed them together in order dark to light, cut in 30 degree triangles and then built the puzzle. I used two strip sets and pressed one with the seam allowance to the light and one to the dark. Made matching all those points easier. I also trimmed all finished seam allowances to 1/8" to reduce bulk. Now it is your turn!

Sign me up with the crazies. I am going to try it too; what you did insists!

Thanks, Pat.

Congratulations on your success! Hard work does pay off. This design being on the diagonal (right?) means it is more likely to get off square so GREAT JOB!

That is just beautiful.
