How do I make up my own pattern? I'd love to share this with everyone, but I have never created a pattern before! Thanks for all the feedback, I woke up this morning and looked at it over my coffee cup and thought, "I'm leaving well enough alone!" LOL

I made one of the coasters from the pattern on here several days ago. So simple and so cute.
The mouse pad is my first attempt a D9P. A little wonky but I like the concept.

I abselutely love it, for 2 reasons; it shows that i am not as awful as i thought and that you guys can have problems too and not always make things perfect and i love it because it looks awsome and its great that just did your own thing and it is really nice :mrgreen:

If you find that the "curviness" bothers you at some point, I remember seeing a post on here about blocking your quilt, where you wash it and block it to square it up and then let it dry. I'm thinking you could try that and it would probably straighten it right up. I don't know what causes it for sure, but I also have trouble from time to time with wall hangings and smaller projects getting "curvy". My larger quilts turn out square. Hmmm, I wonder what the problem would be? :?:
