Beautiful quilt.
What a wonderful quilt for you! Full of memories and love.
Perfect quilt. Memories sewn in love! Jammies fabric on the back to invite you surround yourself in it. Love it!
You have definitely just finished an heirloom. It is truly beautiful and it really does tell your life story!
It's lovely! And what a treasure made from fabrics that mean so very much to you. It's a treasure.

Love it, that is one of the quilt on have on my list I want to tackle some day.
I think that you have done an unbelievably co-ordinated quilt with an exact pattern, but done it with scraps. From a distance, you would swear that you purchased blue fabric, red fabric, yellow fabric, etc. to arrive at that perfect look. I would say that you have engineered perfection. Great heirloom quilt.
What a great idea! A very nice quilt with lots of precious memories! :)
What a treasure! I say that quilting is 'connection through creativity'.....and your quilt of memories is a wonderful example of that. Those who were blessed to have garments made from fabrics represented in the quilt will have a special time remembering this or that dress, shirt, or pj's. Love your cross-stitched label. Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! It inspires me to finish mine. The label is perfect.
Love the quilt, and like you I love making a special label. It just seems to put that dot over the i! Cute, cute, cute!!!!!
Good job! What stories to tell to those who are interested in that beautiful quilt.
Very beautiful quilt and what a group of memories you now have in one treasure.
what an awesome log cabin quilt-wonderful
I see why this quilt has special meaning for you. It is padded with memories and wonderfully named. I was working on a quilt while going through breast cancer treatment when the planes hit the World Trade buildings on 9/11 and I felt the same about that quilt. You are a sensitive, imaginative quilter. Love your quilt.
How beautiful, and every time you use it, you will be filled with wonderful memories.... what more could a quilter want?
Hugs Caroline |
I,too LOVE the log cabin and your's is just beautiful.
What a great quilt...Love that you used Jammies for the back!!
Absolutely love your quilt! I've been meaning to make one of these and you gave me some inspiration to get started.
What a great quilt full of memories!!! We should all do something like that. The problem is with our family we shifted house and places so much over all those years and every time we cleaned out everything that wasn't used anymore, either too smal or just not suitable anymore, so there is really nothing left from when the children were young.... :( and of course I didn't know then that I eventually would become a quilter.... :)
Love it, keep going. I too had loved log cabin but it was many years later I finally got some made
What a great quilt
