I think that you have done an unbelievably co-ordinated quilt with an exact pattern, but done it with scraps. From a distance, you would swear that you purchased blue fabric, red fabric, yellow fabric, etc. to arrive at that perfect look. I would say that you have engineered perfection. Great heirloom quilt.

I see why this quilt has special meaning for you. It is padded with memories and wonderfully named. I was working on a quilt while going through breast cancer treatment when the planes hit the World Trade buildings on 9/11 and I felt the same about that quilt.
