Last Friday I had the opportunity to take a Lone Star Quilt class with Jan Krentz at my LQS. She said that she usually teaches the class as a 3-5 day workshop so we crammed a lot into one day. She was so nice, she said that we could email her with any questions or problems that we might have since we crammed so much in, so I thought I would share what I have done so far. I'm really pleased so far

Very pretty! She is very helpful. I had emailed with a problem I was having with a pattern in one of her books and she responded back very quickly to assist me.

i love the lone star. i recently purchased a template that makes up to a 36" lone star. i can't wait for it to arrive!

I went to her Trunk Show on Thursday. It was great. Couldn't take her class but would have loved to.

Grandma58: Yes she taught us the strip method and it is so much easier than it looks.
kateyb: I missed the truck show but took both classes. I bought her Lone Star DVD and it helped a lot since so much was crammed into the class. Then I got a migraine during the Framed Diamonds and left but a friend took it and said it was also a great class |
