This is really an easy quilt to make, and I hate it that more people don't make a lone star. Maybe you will inspire others to make one. I found some good instruction on the internet last year to refresh my memory on the process. I will make eight diamons like the one posted. If anybody has any question, feel free to ask. |

Just for reference. Here is a long star I did the same way, only I cut the strips on the lenght of grain. It is scrap, except for the borders.
I used the decorator fabrics for the lone star and regular quilters cotten for the rest. These were all large scale prints on those sample cards but once cut, they are just color. |
