Wonderful setting, beautiful fabrics. You did an impressive job of sewing the HSTs together, if you started with triangles - and next time you know how to make them the easier way.

Wow!! Thank you all so much. I'm happy with the way it turned out but it was a journey getting there. :-) Here is more of the same material that I had put together and wasn't that keen on. What a difference. :-) Love the material, just don't like HST's. :-(

Put two 5" squares right sides together. Draw a line from one corner to the opposite. Sew a scant 1/4" on each side of the line. Cut on the line. Press. Voila - two HST in a square. No maneuvering on the bias. :-)

If you want smaller squares you can sew the 5" squares all the way around and cut from corner to corner. Smaller squares but HST all the same. :-) I learn from Jenny Doan. LOL
