It is 44". And I haven't measure exactly the length, yet, but I would guess that it is a little more than 3 yards....maybe 3 1/2.

It would look lovely in any room since it has a variety of colors. It is long enough for my diningroom table (which is about 70 years old. Back in those days, tables were a bit narrower and longer) so 44 inches wide with just a small amount of border material added would make a very rich looking tablecloth especially in a room with an oriental rug. While I could never afford the $$$ that Christies is asking, I am sure that you would have no trouble (in the right venue) selling such a tablecloth. Think of all the fabric you could buy!!!! LOL Seriously, I like the idea of a large central motif and using the rest for OBO blocks around it. I hope that you will keep us posted on how you decide to use the fabric. You certainly were in the right place at the right time so it was surely meant just for you to buy. Congratulations.
