Look what I got!!!

I should say look what "we" got, because it's actually my husband's quilt. His mom was doing some cleaning and found this - her mother made quilts for all her grandkids, and this belongs to my husband. Isn't it beautiful? It's all hand sewn.

It's beautiful! My mom has been cleaning and brought me a "double knit" pant suit she found stashed in her closet. I'd rather have a quilt!!! haha

What a wonderful "find".....and good for his Mom for keeping it in such a way that it stayed so nice !!!

PS....just a suggestion....but if it doesn't have one already ... you should think about adding a pocket to the back with a "history" note in it...or put a label on it so that future generations will know where it came from.

What a special treat, treasure it,,,, I have acouple of OLD family quilts, maybe that is why that is why I started quilting..
