I love the "hideous" fabric..........you can send it my way if you really don't like it!!
I love all of them
I like the hideous pieces! Wish someone would FTP stuff on my door step like that'. I was afraid to look at first!!
Good for you, I'm sure they will look good as quilts.
LOL...hot spit? That cracked me up!
Nice surprise!!!!!!!!
The 8 and 9 inch squares could be used in any pattern calling for layer cake pieces. That collection I like. What to do with the painted fabric I don't know. Don't care of any of that myself.
her shop was originally here in Key West. I saw the workers "paint" the material. It sold for a huge amount per yard as it was all done by hand.
If you just cannot stand that hideous fabric you can just send it my way/
Yah for you!

I see lots of scrappies and maybe a handbag or two. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Looks like your ready to make some quilts.
the set of fabrics in the second picture would make up a fun OBW
Wow! I love it. A new challenge. What to make with all these bright happy fabrics. Have fun.

the "hideous" fabric would make a good 4 patch posie
great haul |
What a faboulous surprise. I see so many quilts in your future. There are a great many designs out there for large print fabric. Enjoy
Sorry, you are both wrong. They were meant to be coming to my place. I am so disappointed.
I am in Australia. What was that you said? Yeah! Fat chance. That is not very friendly. Enjoy them, they are lovely. lol gleniveve |
Wonderful find, I love the bright colors.
I can see one block wonders in the one you called hideous. I love them myself. If you decide to sell them, let me know.
I love your "hideous" fabric and the Lily Pulitzer fabrics.
Cut into blocks it will be absolutely beautiful.
Fantastic--wish it had been left on my doorstep!
Purses, and tote bags, and place mats. I use discarded fabric memos which are often sunbrella or heavier fabrics and find those items make good use of them.

Lucky girl.

Have you ever thought about doing a bargello quilt using the fabric? I think it would be beautiful! You could stagger the strips, using light, dark , light, dark,or something like that.:)
Me too!
Those are all nice actually! Even the big pieces could be cut into squares, then added to scrap quilts. Or add co-ordinating color blocks to them & you might actually like them in something. I like that saying, there is no ugly fabric, it just hasn't been cut into a small enough square! LOL! Works for me, nice haul, lucky you!...
SWEEEET! The ones you called "ugly" would make a great OBW or clothesline fabric backets. I agree with Bonnie Hunter on the uglies, "there are no ugly fabrics, you just haven't cut them small enough!" Get busy!
Score!!! The "hideous" fabric (which I don't think is hideous at all) would make lovely kaleidoscope blocks!
