Sandy, the garage-Sale Queen said she paid $3 for all this! It amounts to 5 POUNDS of fabric. My husband about gagged, but I love all the bright colors.
these are that stiff painted-on feeling stuff. I have no idea what I'll do with these. OK, I admit it... this is hideous, but there's 3-4 yards of each! Wahoo! 1-24 8 & 9" square sof each. Can you say picnic blankets?? And then there is this... Lilly Pulitzer fabric! Well, hot spit, I'd never even heard of her until I researched the signature. I may find a collector for these. |

you and i have very different tastes because i don't think the fabric is hideous.

The "hideous" fabric would be beautiful framed in black like the "city streets" ,or the "deco" patterns , both of which are free!
|
I love the bright colors too. Have fun with your doorstep find.

What about some kind of stack and whack project for the fabric in the second picture. Never made anything like that myself but looks like the type of fabric that would work well with it. Have fun.
|
I wish Sandy would come and leave a bag like this on my doorstep. I'd be sure to thank her and give her the $3 she paid.
|
Cute.

The ones you call hideous would make beautiful stack and whacks. If you really, really hate them you can send them to me.
|
You have the best friend. Enjoy her and the material.

You are going to have so much fun! Lucky you.

Very pretty, if you don't like them send it over to me.

While your second photo may not be the prettiest, I bet they would make pretty Stack N Whack blocks!
