Very Nice!

when i first started to quilt some one told me about the porch
and a horse. you have some one stand on the porch and hold up your quilt. then you get on a horse and ride past the quilt. it you see all of mis points and things wrong with it. then get a faster horse and try it again. that is what i do. as it was made with love and that is all that counts. i love your quilt. i cant find anything wrong with it. blessings ogama |
I think your quilt is beautiful.

It is very pretty - not sure what you were going for, but the result you have looks very good.
|
I think it looks great.

I like it!

I like it. Don't be so hard on yourself.

I'll take it if you really don't like it! :)

Hmmm looks fine to me. It is very ncie actually.

What doesn't look good to you looks great to me. I like your colors and I don't see any mistakes!! You are looking too close. We are our own worst critics. Someone else will love this quilt!
|
I love it! The colors are beautiful.
|
I like your quilt! Looks scrappy yet flows in swirls. Quilt it and enjoy it!

As for your points not matching - I don't see it. Stand back about 10 feet - if you can't see the points that don't match, they don't exist. :) |
I love the look of this quilt. It reminds me of a watercolor painting. Was this done tube style?
|
I like it, great colors

I wonder if you'd be happier with it if you sashed each block. It is a really cheerful quilt. Sometimes if something bugs me, I can't rest until I 'fix' it. Don't know if this is one of those for you or not. Not trying to make you annoyed, just trying to help out.
PS Edited to add, sash each set of four that make up the spinning star kind of shape. |
I don't see a thing wrong with it. I think sometimes we are our worst critic.
|
I think your quilt is lovely. I don't see the mis-points so I wouldn't worry about it.
|
Beautiful!! Because of the pattern you do not notice if the points are perfect. We work so close to our subject (quilt) that we see every speck that is wrong where others only see the beauty. Enjoy!!

Don't be so hard on yourself, it is beautiful. If you don't like it send it to me............

I like it, it's pretty!

I think it is pretty cool.

Your points at mighty close. No one would notice but you and the quilt police, and you know they don't count. Your colors are beautiful. Love that quilt top. when it is a finished quilt, you will love it too.

Stand back about 10 feet - if you can't see the points that don't match, they don't exist. :) One thing with Bali Pops, they are hand cut and aren't always exactly 2.5". The only time I used them, I matched them with strips of fabric that I had cut. With my fabric on top, I matched the left side and sewed the right side. So then any slight difference in the size of the Bali Pop was taken care of in the seam allowance. Also, bias cuts are difficult to sew without stretching. You may want to try starch or sizing on it. Anyway, pretty quilt. |
I agree with everyone. You are being too hard on yourself. Just quilt it, bind it and move on. ;-)
|
I think it looks great and your being too critical of yourself. I am like that too and when you step by, you'll see the beauty of what you made. I love the fabric and design. Also, we all learn from each project, each challenge, each mistake.

I have the same problems sometimes; it's nice to hear about the spray starch from others! I'll try it. And yes, we need to stop being so hard on ourselves! |
It is beautiful....the color combo is soft, lovely colors...this is actually pretty gorgeous!
Quilting is a journey and we learn along the way. Enjoy it!! |
It's lovely and engaging...I mean I could get lost in your quilt...it pulls my eyes in and I want to keep looking at it. So I wouldn't stress over the unmatched points (I spy 2) and I'm sure the quilting process will only enhance.
|
I thinks its pretty.
|
looks good -- I have decided that there is nothing easy in quilting!
|
The pinks is very pleasing to my eyes. I can't see nixed points from my view.

wow ! I like that !
|
Personally, I don't see what is wrong with it. I really like it. I have been wanting to try one of those, but after having made a pinwheel quilt with 10" squares and dealing with all those biases, I am still a little gun shy. Just remember we are not looking at a quilt from 18" away except when we are sewing it. You have to stand back and enjoy the overall look.
|
I don't see anything wrong with the beautiful quilt, and I have my glasses on!!!!!! I like it.!!!!
|
you are being too picky. Don't go over it with a magnifiying glass. Stand back and enjoy the riot of color...or send it too me.
