I do not know the pattern, but must tell you this is a beautiful quilt, the colors, the work and especially the quilting. Thanks

I want to try your avatar someday. Do you still have the yardage requirements for it by any chance? And did you make it with HST's? Thanks!!!!

I did make it with hst's and squares. I don't have the yardage. I just charted it out on graph paper and figured how many of each combo I needed. I had a yard or so of each color and 2 yards of the green. But I had fabric left over. It is a baby quilt, so didn't take a lot.

Thanks, I can do that. I thought it was a LOT bigger!

Whatever math you need doing----I can figure it out for you. Just PM me with the details and I'll get back with you as soon as I can. (I was a quilter and taught myself math using quilting, then ended up teaching middle school math for 8 years---loved every minute of it!)

Each of the squares is 4" unfinished. With bigger squares, it would also go bigger! (O: The link akgranny posted looks like it uses 6" finished squares.

Wonder what size squares I would need to do???

A regular queen size quilt is approx. 100 x 100 so, if you used 10 inch square blocks, you would have room for any border treatment you want to use for a queen size. Hope this is helpful.

A regular queen size quilt is approx. 100 x 100 so, if you used 10.5 inch square blocks (which would measure approx 80 x 80), you would have room for any border treatment you want to use for a queen size. Hope this is helpful.

How very kind of you to make that offer to one of our members. Most people would never make and offer like that to figure out what was needed and let the quilter know. What a nice person you are and how nice of you. Thanks for offering to help a fellow quilter. I may need to call on you some day to. lol.
