So very sorry that you lost your things, sometimes you just can't replace some things. Hope they turn up.

So very sad. Hoping your quilts and cherished items find their way back to you!!

That's very sad, hopefully you will get it back. Fingers crossed. It's a beauty.

How careless of the company. I hope that they are able to retrieve your lost boxes.

Just saw a post where someone found a box of quilts on the side of the road in Montana. Here's the post. It's probably not your quilts, but it's worth asking. After all, who knows where lost quilts get lost to?

Suggestion to all: When moving or shipping a quilt, glue a label or two with the shipping/new address inside the box as well as on the outside. It might also be helpful to put your phone number on an address label and, perhaps offer a small reward for their safe return.

thank you for the update...those were not my quilts...i hope they find their way home...i understand how upsetting it is...my name/phone number & distinctive labels were on each box & still they were 'lost' by the moving company in the dallas, texas area....

Oh my goodness, thats heart breaking. Hope they get back to you. I will certainly keep my eyes open here in NC.

I still have a mailing tube with a few drawings in it that isn't mine. I wrote the person who's name was on the label, (baseball player) but never heard back. I would have mailed it at my cost. I want my things back, so thought he would too. Moving companies are terrible!

I can never figure out how a moving company can "lose" a box. I'm sorry that this happened to you. If UPS can track a box, all carriers should be able to track a box. Hopefully, it'll turn up in time. A box just doesn't disappear.

It usually happens because they have more than one persons stuff in the truck or when they store or transfer things. It's really a shame when this happens. If we move again, it makes me want to take a lot of the stuff my self.
