Sure looks good, I like rectangle better than square. Nice choices to extend.

Ve started on a 2" square quilt also. Will I ever finish?

Looks great. Scraps multiply. It's what they do.

Wonderful quilt! Great use of scraps!

quiltingcandy 09-14-2016 08:59 PM

Very pretty! Did you sew it by hand or machine?

Very pretty two inch scrappy quilt.

Karamarie 09-15-2016 04:08 AM

I love it but then scrappies are my favorite. I have a tote of 2 1/2" squares that I want to use up. I've completed 6 race quilts this summer using up all my 2 1/2" strips and 3" strips and yesterday I completed my 3rd quilt using up my tote of 5" squares. I lost two of my brothers this past year and have given these quilts to my nieces and nephews left behind - kind of like comfort quilts. These are nieces and nephews I don't see much so wanted to give them something from their "Auntie" Karen. So I've cleaned out 3 totes - what a cleansing feeling!

It is pieced by machine, and the hexies are hand sewn and hand appliqued.

Love your top. Can you tell us how many 2" squares there are in the middle block? Tried to count but got lost!!

Very nice...

Great quilt. That's a lot of 2" squares, good for you. I have a theory that our fabric multiply at night when we're not looking. LOL.

Beautiful quilt - love the hexies!

Great use of your 2 inch squares, lovely!

Beautiful! Wonder how many total pieces in that quilt.

I will have to figure that out! :)

The flowers are so well coordinated that it looks like they were made especially for this quilt, not leftovers from another project. Pretty! And the multiple inner borders are snazzy!

There is a free pattern for the original Fading Charms quilt top if you are interested? https://weddingdressblue.wordpress.c...-charms-quilt/
