Love letters

Hi, this is a quilt I finished a couple of years ago. Thought I would share it. It's from the Barb Adams and Alma Allen book "When the cold wind blows". It's called Love Letters. I did it in batiks. Each block took me about a month to hand applique. I had it quilted by my local LA lady. She did echo quilting 1/4".

Lovely quilt. I've only done 1 small applique item on a quilt. I can't imagine myself doing all the applique you did ... but it was worth it!

Wow, wow. Such pretty colors. Just beautiful. Needleturn? Raw edge? I did bias tape batik applique and it was hard on the fingers. Can't imagine doing this much.
