I'm kind of behind in posting my projects but I have been busy. I have also been working on myself. I had someone say " oh your one of those chubby fun quilters". I know they didn't mean anything mean but that was the beginning of the end of me being the chubby quilter. So between sewing I decided to get healthy so I can quilt longer. I'm 90lbs down and I'm making a quilt out of all my fat jeans! It's easier for me to get on the floor and stage my quilt pieces now too, bonus! Now I'm a happy healthy quilter :). Check out what I have been working on.

Congratulations all round. You look amazingly slim and fit and your work is lovely. You are an inspiration to me. I lost a lot of weight too, but keeping it off has been very challenging for me. Quilting is not exactly an airobic activity is it but it's good for the soul.

I am not sure why we have come to a place in society where we can say negative things about people with no regards to how they are received.....it makes me wonder. BUT you have taken the positive way and I am very proud of you!
I changed to clean eating about three years ago, and have lost TONS of inches, though the scale shows only a twenty pound difference BUT I FEEL GREAT!!

Your quilts are ADORABLE!!!!!!!! They need to come visit me in Oklahoma.... tee hee hee!

Your quilts are great, and your weight loss is even greater. I decided to lose weight when I saw that my doctor had written "obesity" on my chart. When I went in last week, she was so excited to see me at a normal weight. I told her what had "inspired" me to lose the pounds, and I watched as she took that diagnosis off my chart. She said she was obligated to put "obesity" on the chart when a patient's BMI exceeded 30. It sure worked for me. Congratulations on all counts.

A new healthy you and fabulous quilts. I'm an exercise physiologist and I know how hard it is to lose weight. Kudos to you. I'm especially happy to hear how easy it is for you to get on off the floor with the quilts.

Your quilts are wonderful and you are an inspiration to me! You look fabulous! 90 lbs...if someone isn't overweight it's hard to imagine losing that much. I've got about 60 lbs. to lose and it's daunting to say the least. Congratulations!
