Here are pictures of the Lover's Knot that I have finished, as a top only!! There are also pictures of my star block, simple, but to me, pretty. and the last (if they go in order) is a panel kit that I finished (again, only as a top!!  )

Very nice! Keep up the good work!!!

If it's the picture I think it is (my cats still show up when I look at my avatar-I've been trying to change it!) that's my youngest grand daughter, who will be 6 months old next Friday!! I babysit her Mondays through Fridays and she's so much fun!
Yep she shows up here she's beautiful, i love babies. I love the work you have show, very nice :D

She is adorable!!!! And its sure not cats I'm seeing!!!! |
Your work is beautiful! I can't wait to see the blue star block all put together! And that grandbaby is adorable--lucky you, to have her all week long!
Your quilts are wonderful and I love your star block!!
It's funny because the avatar I see is a quilt on a bed-not a baby and not cats!! |
Very nice. Love the Lover's Knot and that star block is beautiful.
Very nice!
Wow Dorothy!! I see the cutest baby smiling in your avatar and then I see a really cute Christmas panel quilt, a fantastic lover's know and a block that I hope I get on of for the Blue/White Star! It is for the swap, isn't it?? They are all great....but the baby beats them all on the Wow factor
Nice work on the quilts and block and your avatar is adorable!
Yes, that's my block for the swap. I figured there would be so many fantastic blocks that your eyes may need a place to "rest" It was fun and pretty quick to make. I got it from Quilters Cache, but modified it so that only one star actually showed.
I love the quilts.
That Lover's Knot goes both ways!! Cool!~
That sure is a cute little baby! Look at those cheeks! Makes ya just want to bite them! lol
Very nice.
they are all beautiful.... :D
Each one is beautiful...but the baby in the avitar is what I would like :)
Margie :) |
I'm training her now to become a quilter. I prop her car seat in my sewing room so she can see what I'm doing! I usually sew after she has left or while she naps and on the weekends.
she is absolutely beautiful...GOd bless her.....what is her name :)
Margie |
Her name is Kaley Carnell Tucker and she has a smile that makes my day!

Hi,
IN my book you have the hard part done. Take your time and enjoy quilting them. |
Your grandbaby is beautiful. I'm finding it's lots more fun being a grandparent than a parent, aren't you? I love the Lover's Knot quilt, I gotta' find that pattern and add it to my "to do" list--so beautiful!
That is one cute little girl! And I love the blue and white star.
Perfect for valentines day! The fall colors are really cheerful in that setting, pretty!
blocks and quilts are great- but that baby- she needs to pack her bags and come and play at my house! I would hug and kiss her and smooch her and rock and read books and play..........
I love babies! |
I just finished a shooting star in plaids....I agree ,a fun block... your`s is very pretty :-)
Really pretty work. I love the Lover's Knot!
All are very pretty , But the prettiest is your granddaughter  Where did you get the pattern for the Lovers knot ?

The pattern for the Lover's Knot is from Quilt-in-a Day, by the same name. She has updated the book and a new one is out. I used her old book, which is now out of print. I plan to buy the new one, to see what she has in it. They really work up quick, only four colors, including your background color. Here are two more that I have made recently. The green one is for my son and his wife, once I machine quilt it!
