$22.00 for these piles, including a crib sized cotton batting after applying their coupon. I have a lot of overcasting & laundry ahead of me!

It surprises me how many people do not know about Goodwill's coupons...$5.00 off a $25.00 purchase, and $15. off a $60. purchase. Sign up online and get their monthly newsletter with the coupons. Print several of them out, and use one every time you go! I mean, you know how easy it is to spend $25.00! ;-)

coupons at goodwill :-o

I will have to look into that.

Congrads on you 'stash' acquirement's.

Bobby's Girl 10-29-2011 10:35 AM

Wow, that could've been me finding this stash if I'd been in the right place at the right time! Since I wasn't there, I'm glad YOU were. Just looking through all those pieces of fabric and planning what to make will be worth way-y-y more than you paid. ;-0

JJean 10-29-2011 10:36 AM

Great score! Thanks for the tip!

QuiltnNan 10-29-2011 10:41 AM

RenaB 10-29-2011 10:41 AM

Thanks for the tip, I never knew they had coupons!!

mymsmess 10-29-2011 10:43 AM

I never knew about the coupons either. I will check it out now. Thanks for the info.

athomenow 10-29-2011 11:14 AM

Our GW's in the area don't usually have fabric that I've found. I did go on the GW online site and put a bid in on some fabric. Thanks for the tip on the discount coupons. I signed up for those also.

donnaree59 10-29-2011 11:25 AM

I love it! So glad you found it... I really am running out of room, but I would have "HAD" to have had it if I'd seen it. Y'all fellow fabric addicts know what I am talking about...never enough.

Zappycat 10-29-2011 11:27 AM

Wow.... great find! you surely had a good day!

Painiacs 10-29-2011 11:52 AM

Wow! Good for u! Didn't know they had coupons! I have a card they scan. I thought when used that they gave discounts.

justflyingin 10-29-2011 11:55 AM

Great find!

sarahsews 10-29-2011 12:30 PM

They had another same size bag of fabrics, which I did not get. That one had too many fabrics that I knew I didn't want. Some days they don't have anything that I want. I have walked out without buying a thing. It really is a treasure hunt!

SherriB 10-29-2011 12:38 PM

Do all Goodwill's accept those coupons? I will check out the site and show it to DD. DD is a Goodwill/Salvation Army addict.

Becca Bear 10-29-2011 12:44 PM

Wow! Nice find!

You have to sign up for your local Goodwill newsletter & see what they offer. :-)

sewnsewer2 10-29-2011 12:49 PM

You did good!

sisLH 10-29-2011 12:52 PM

I have signed up before but have never gotten a newsletter nor any coupons. We do get 15% off on the 15th of every month at our nearest Goodwill.

crafty_linda_b 10-29-2011 12:53 PM

Our GW gives 20% off on Tues for seniors. I am a senior so can take advantag of that. I can never find any good deals like you gals do on fabrics etc. I did find one 7 yr piece of nice calico for $6 once. I want to get some fabrics to blend with it and make a D9P quilt to keep on my couch. crafty_linda_b

mymsmess 10-29-2011 12:57 PM

Nice score! I signed up for the goodwill newsletter, but i have not seen anything about coupons. Can you tell us where to look for them. Thank you for your time.

T-Anne 10-29-2011 01:01 PM

Coupons for Goodwill? Who'd thunk it! LOL

Ramona Byrd 10-29-2011 01:08 PM

Never heard of such a thing. Thanks for the idea, sometimes I do spend quite a bit. Go in for something to read, see a pretty color in some clothing, and by the time I go to check out I have 30 dollars or so of stuff.

carolaug 10-29-2011 01:13 PM

Here they send out an online newsletter once a month and the coupons are in it, & you print them & make copies, or print more.

CoyoteQuilts 10-29-2011 03:02 PM

Great Score! I shall look into the coupons!

Great score..
I wish the goodwill store near me had fabric.. Usually, I'm jealous.. but yesterday I went to Unique, and got a bag of about six yards of top quality fabric for $4.. and today went to a different Unique, and got a yard of Marimieko fabric for $1.. My finds are so few, and so infrequent..

Every state is different is right...I just checked the NC one nearest me and it does not have coupons nor a newsletter.

Yooper32 10-30-2011 04:21 AM

Coupons? Cards? All news to me. Never heard of any such. Ours, the prices are so high, I usually don't even go in. One really needs coupons to shop there.

mama's place 10-30-2011 04:34 AM

Ours doesn't ever have fabric. Sometimes a sheet or bedskirt in the original pack. Not a very good selection at all.

homecaregiver 10-30-2011 04:37 AM

Great find I have never seen anything like this at our goodwill and it is a nice one. Did not know you could go to their site and bid on stuff, Is this something new or something I just never knew about. Will check it out. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I have seen Goodwill's website. Maybe I should have another look.

A lot of older people live here in our area. I think maybe when they die or go to live in a retirement home their stuff ends up at Goodwill. And those people came from all over the US. Plus we have a lot of quilters here.

KarenR 10-30-2011 05:27 AM

WOW!

ka9sdn 10-30-2011 06:11 AM

Gee didn't even know they had a site or that you could bid or get coupins. Learn something new everyday.

Sunnye 10-30-2011 07:13 AM

Lucky, lucky, lucky!
I still don't know why I can't find these great deals. Wrong place, wrong time I guess.
