I love love all your fabric, boy did you hit the jackpot, I love all Dovie's fabrics. I love the rooster fabric, she didn't have that when I was down there. Have a great day.

Well a little birdie told me that I just missed you and that a nice size package went off to CA today :)

LOL...I was there to get another 31 yards for someone here that PM'd me so I could ship it off to them. Cleaned off 3 bolts for her!

Of course...no worries for those who might still want some or thinking of dropping by there's still a huge selection on the $1 table! And yes, it's all LQS quality.

There's still rooster fabric and the orangey/peach one with houses & roosters available. I told Ms. Dovie that she would have to make sure Shirley snagged you some!!!

She also added a bolt of puppy fabric and this really cute juvenile print. I refrained...I'm on buying hiatus until next week!

bjnicholson 01-12-2011 02:45 PM

But, (and this my excuse!) think of all the money you saved on the fabric you DIDN'T buy!!!

Mary M 01-12-2011 02:46 PM

And I double that! So very thoughtful to help us out...you are the best! Hugs, Mary M

Wow, what great deals! She really nows how to clean out her store and the local quilters can really benefit. I love, love, love the red fabric in your Group 2 picture and have PM'd you. If you run across those bargains again, you could probably purchase the entire bolts and turn around and sell them on this board. Thanks for sharing your success story.

ann clare 01-12-2011 03:29 PM

You got a bargain

Latrinka 01-12-2011 03:40 PM

Got it and answered. She does...we were talking about that today actually. I was telling her how everyone can't believe it's LQS quality, etc. She's like sweetie...yes, I'm losing money on all these $1 fabrics but I'd rather lose it then have it just sit here on the shelves. That monies already gone, I can take what I am getting and buy some new stuff that people may want. It's going to good use and maybe they'll remember me in the future. My reply...Yes ma'am :) <she's SOOO sweet>

Tsanchez 01-12-2011 03:54 PM

Gorgeous

kriscraft99 01-12-2011 03:55 PM

I wish she had a link online :( since I live so far away!

So much fun, unfortunately...I had to go back to work. Hopefully, we can do it again soon!!!

Anyway...I hope you're sitting down. I bought 50 yds of material. Yes, f-i-f-t-y. I know you probably think I'm insane..."maybe", but....

how often can you buy QS material for $1/yd...yes, $1.00!!!

I just couldn't wait to get home & fondle it. And here's hoping that I won't have to go shoping for my swaps :)

Thank you! We thought you were pretty special too:) I have been wondering what I will do next with the fabric I got:) I think I have enough to last a little while:)

luckylindy333 01-12-2011 04:19 PM

wow- what a deal! no one here thinks anything of buying that much. I was on vacation in Hawaii once and found fabric at the old Ben Franklin store and hauled a bunch home. DH kept saying, you know you are going to have to carry that home! LOL

Jaynie 01-12-2011 07:55 PM

I was excited cause I got 10 fat qrts. for $8.00 today at a quilt shop. YOUR SALE was waaaaay better. Lucky you.

mymsmess 01-13-2011 02:21 AM

I love all the fabric, it is beautiful! I have been searching for the rooster fabric myself and can't find any here in Wv where I am at. Heck there is not even a LQS near me.

quilter68 01-13-2011 04:55 AM

I would have done the exact same thing! Nice shopping.

Mar_ie 01-13-2011 11:43 AM

What a bargain!!

annpryor 01-13-2011 12:16 PM

Hey Sweetie, I would have probably bought a 100 yards. At $1 a yard that is wild.

Ellie377073 01-13-2011 12:16 PM

When you buy fabric, how much do you usually buy of one pattern? Do you buy 1 yard, 2 yards or what?
