Now, I am really wondering about the small mistakes I fret over...

This really made me feel better about my Knit picking I do over my quilts. To me this looks as if someone had a Stroke at the
sewing machine  It's hard to believe this was in a Gallery
to be shown are sold even..Thanks for reminding us that everyone can make mistakes and it's still alright :D

I always criticize mt own work and am so far from being a perfectionist at it. But? I do enjoy the quilt making process and try to do better with each project. I know the world will cont. to revolve if I make mistakes. Thank God!

I agree with the learning curve and that I am my own worst critic. Thank you for reminding me it is okay not to be perfect.
Sandypat. I love your cats and the six piece bathing suit tops! I don't know how you got the pic but it is precious!

Well, then... ;-) I am new to machine quilting but my dear husband went out and bought me a HandiQuilter 18 Avante last week. So..I have started my practicing and must say I am in love! Helps to see what others consider "good enough" so I don't beat myself up too bad. Actually my real problem is in getting the tension right so the thread doesn't keep breaking. I have a free class at the dealer's next week..sure looking forward to it! NancyH in Michigan

I always enjoy your perspective and the way you state yourself. Your children are fortunate to have a role model that has the insight you do. I wish we were geographically closer so I could learn more from you. Your a good teacher.

After reading the comments, I completely agree with so many of the others. My work is far from perfect, but every quilt teaches me something new and I continue to grow and learn. My children and grandchildren are always excited to receive a quilt, telling me they love it because it was made just for them. That's enough for me!
