I have been wanting to post my quilts but there are so many great quilters that i just didn't feel that i fit in to this group. After reading many responses I know that you all are one big family here… Hope the pic come up??????????

Why are we so hard on ourselves? Carol, I am so glad you said you "felt you didn't fit in" so we can alllll tell you that you DO Fit In PERFECTLY!!!!!!! Your work is excellent and look at that long arm. Wow! You did the applique? And the stitching? And the quilting. Thank you for sharing with us. Love what I can see of your sewing room. So large and so bright.

And when it is finished I am going to show it with pride because I feel like there are 100's of us who have finished a quilt with imperfections and it makes us all feel better to know not everyones work turns out perfect every time. (I am still striving for my first time and I learn something on each quilt.) I do feel surrounded by people who care about the things we post. I love the Quiltingboard. |
Maybe I said it wrong. Its not that I don't fit in Its just that I think maybe we have a tendency to judge our own work harder and we see our faults where as other only see the one side . The side we want them to see.
