This is the 2012 Fund raiser quilt for the Nebraska State Quilt Guild. Myself and 3 friends created it. It was unveiled Saturday night at the annual banquet.
the applique was done with Sharon Schambers (sorry if I spelled that last name wrong) method of applique. We had entered it in the IMQA show in Overland Park KS in May and it received honorable mention in class (that was for the quilting) piecers award (that is for the design of the top) and much to our surprise, Viewers Choice. I hope the picture comes through. I'm not very good on the computer. |
