Stunning design and colours...can't wait to see the finished result...I am "border challenged" so am learning a lot on this thread.

Your quilt is beautiful - you have given me an idea of what I can do with some FATS I have just hanging around in my stash - thanks. With regards to the border remeber now that I am no expert however I think you should first add a plain border & then I would go with your HST blocks on the top row on the left. Can't wait to see it finished. Tisha |
Ninnie, i love your quilt. it is beautiful. I go with cutebuns on the boarder. Something plain first then a zig zag.
You sure did give us all a good idea for our scraps. |
What a great quilt. I have to bookmark this one. Can't wait for the finished pictures.

Oh wow! That is Beautiful.

What a great scrappy quilt! I love how the colors pop against the white muslin! Looks pretty easy, too!

I just found this while looking around. Its another idea for boarder. Scroll down a bit.

The center is completed now!I added one more row of 16" squares and it now measures 48" by 64". I am going to add a 6" border on all sides , so It will, when done measure 60" by 76". which I think will be fine for a lap quilt for the den.
Still thinking about designs for the border, but have a few written down, so still need help! Each 16" block has what I consider pinning points, some quilters don't pin, but I am a ig believer in pinning. Hi, Ninnie, just checked in to monitor your progress, and it's looking really good - I like the larger size, even though it was more work.

Very nice! I pin to match points, too; it's an obsession!
