I started working on tis a couple of months ago, and had to lay it aside to work on IRRs and swaps.I love star blocks, and have never made a sampler, so decided to do one with stars only. Here is what I have done so far.

Ninnie, I love stars also. You should look for the pattern of Boxy Stars. It is scrappy and so fun to do.. when you get the boxy part done you will see the stars. I hand quilted mine and I love it. If you can not find the pattern, pm me and I will find my pattern that I downloaded from the internet..

Ninnie 01-27-2010 04:26 PM

Yes, there will be sashing between them. I am hoping that the sashing will give some of them a look of floating, we will see

butterflywing 01-28-2010 08:01 AM

what size are the blocks? 60 pieces are an awful lot.

ranger 01-28-2010 08:14 AM

It is going to be a wonderful sampler quilt. I like that medium-blue fabric...the one with a design.
